How can I attract more traffic to my business?

Whether you are starting a new business, or you want to drive more traffic into your existing establishment, attracting more customers is always a priority! In a bustling tourist destination such as Myrtle Beach, attracting customers is crucial for your business’s success. With approximately 2,000 full service restaurants in the area, how do you make yours stand out above the rest?

To boost your curb appeal, invest in eye-catching signage or a captivating mural that grabs attention and draws people in. Once inside, quality products and exceptional customer service are essential for success. Friendly and attentive staff can transform first-time visitors into loyal customers. In your dining areas, focus on creating a comfortable atmosphere that enhances the overall customer experience. Here are some key considerations:

  • What is the vibe you are wanting to portray? Is it upscale and classy, or relaxed and casual?

  • Will you have live music or host special events?

  • Do you want a restaurant with a party atmosphere or do you want to be the go-to spot for a romantic night out?

Whatever your vision is for your establishment, you will create that environment with the decor you choose, from the table linens (or lack thereof) to the art you put on the walls.

Set the Tone

A custom mural can easily set the tone. Imagine you own a waterfront restaurant with a fun and laid-back vibe. Nightly live music is the norm here. You want your customers to feel a care free attitude the second they walk through the door. Imagine a fun and whimsical mural painted on the wall when you enter. Maybe it's an octopus holding various drinks in each of it's many tentacles. Or maybe it's holding drinks in some, and playing the guitar with the others! You have just set the tone for the fun, party atmosphere you were wanting for your establishment!

Social Media Engagement

You've set the tone with your new mural, but it get's better! Now, your customers absolutely MUST get a selfie in front of this work of art! It's so fun, how could you not? Your customer gathers their group of friends, stand in front of the mural and snap a pic. Of course, they all have to post it to their social media! The pic goes up, they tag your location - or even better, we've included your logo in the mural so it can't be missed - they include the hashtag "Best bar in Myrtle Beach" and bam! Free marketing for you! Wouldn't you want to go to the bar with the cool octopus mural?? I know I would!

Whether it is a fun and whimsical or classy and reserved, a mural should be an integral part of your marketing plan. Not only does it set the tone, but it will make your establishment a place to remember!

A whimsical mural for a beer garden in Morristown, NJ.

Located in Morristown, NJ, home to Washington's Headquarters, my client requested a cartoon image of George Washington, playing the guitar while holding a beer with a nod to the Grateful Dead - represented by the dancing skeletons in the background. He also requested to incorporate the American Flag as well as his logo. The result was a fun mural for a casual atmosphere while acknowledging the history of the area.
